Tamara Dueckman
Pre-Licensed Therapist

I hold deep respect and admiration for individuals who choose to enter therapy. It takes vulnerability, courage, and strength to face our problems head-on. I have been working in the social services field for over 10 years, and through my experience and education, I have come to understand the ways in which oppressive systems and structures inform our individual struggles. In therapy, I strive to help clients understand their situations in a holistic way so that they can reduce the shame they feel and move forward with courage.

While I am open to clients of all genders, ages, and walks of life, I have particular experience and interest in working with parents. I love to support clients as they journey through pre- and post-natal mental health concerns, parenting challenges, and re-claiming their identity and relationships after having a baby. I also have extensive experience in supporting youth and young adults as they navigate the challenges that come with transitioning to adulthood.

I am committed to entering the therapeutic space with humility and curiosity. I believe that individuals have strengths and resiliencies within them from which to draw upon in difficult circumstances. As a therapist, my goal is to walk alongside you as you discover or re-discover your strengths, joys, goals, and deeply-held beliefs and values.
