Amanda Strider
Pre-Licensed Therapist
My personal counselling philosophy is rooted in curiosity and connection. Your story matters to me. Understanding your unique journey is an integral part of our work together. I approach therapy with a holistic lens, acknowledging our interconnectedness with the world around us including the impact of systems of harm and oppression.
While I work with clients of all ages and genders, I’m especially passionate about helping women navigate challenges with identity, body image, and burnout. I also have a keen interest in supporting people living with chronic pain, rooted in 15 years of clinical experience working as a kinesiologist in this field.
I view you as the author of your life. My role is to walk beside you as a compassionate guide on your journey of self-discovery, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for exploration. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths and create meaningful change and growth in your life.
