Joanne Hillier
Intern Therapist
Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals grappling with a diverse range of challenges, from physical injury and illness, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have over 20 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist and believe that this has equipped me with a holistic understanding of the dynamic interplay between our mental health and the roles we fulfill throughout our lives.
I am deeply committed to helping individuals navigate the complexities of life, offering support and strategies to enhance emotional well-being and pave the way for future success. I truly enjoy working with, and connecting with others, helping them during their most difficult days, offering support to overcome life’s challenges, and taking time to celebrate the good days! My empathetic approach and genuine concern for my clients' welfare create a safe and compassionate space where personal growth can flourish.
I embrace a person-centered and integrative approach to therapy, tailoring modalities to meet clients wherever they are in their journey. I believe in the inherent resilience of every individual and am truly passionate about empowering my clients to overcome obstacles, cultivate self-awareness and self-compassion, and lead fulfilling lives. I recognize and admire that you are taking the difficult first step to help yourself, and am here to offer guidance, support, and encouragement as we navigate this journey together.
