CLINICAL SUPERVISION FOR THERAPISTS IN BRITISH
COLUMBIA
& ONTARIO

Reflective, relational supervision rooted in narrative therapy & anti-oppressive practice — for therapists who want more than a checkbox.

YOU'RE NOT ALONE.

YOU'RE NOT AN IMPOSTER. YOU'RE BECOMING THE THERAPIST YOU'RE MEANT TO BE.

Maybe you're lying awake replaying sessions, questioning every clinical decision you made that day. You're scrolling at midnight researching therapy techniques when you should be resting, because the anxiety about being good enough doesn't turn off.

Or maybe you're past that stage. You've been in practice for years — but you're isolated. There's no one to process the hard cases with. No space where you can bring your real questions without performing confidence. Here's what I know after 20+ years of supervising therapists: the self-doubt, the isolation, the imposter syndrome — they're not signs you're in the wrong field. They're what happens when capable people care deeply but are left to figure it out alone.

NARRATIVE THERAPY CLINICAL SUPERVISOR WITH OVER 20+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

I'm Cecilia Mannella, I'm based in Abbotsford, BC and I work with therapists across British Columbia & Ontario.

I trained with Dr. Stephen Madigan at the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy — all levels — and have spent 12 years teaching at the bachelor's and master's level. I've built and run a seven-figure group practice, and supervised hundreds of therapists through the exact stage you're in right now.

I'm direct. I see patterns fast. I'll challenge you — but from a place of being completely on your side.

Education & Certifications

"Clinical supervision isn't just about accumulating hours for registration. It's about building confidence, the clinical identity, and the reflective practice that lets you actually show up fully in your work."

THE APPROACH

A FEMINIST, ANTI-OPPRESSIVE APPROACH TO CLINICAL SUPERVISION

I don't do the traditional "expert supervisor tells you what to do" model. Supervision with me is collaborative — we co-create your therapist identity together. We examine the stories you've been told about what a "good therapist" looks like, and we build an approach that's actually yours.

My supervision integrates narrative therapy, attachment theory, EFT, and trauma-informed practice. I'm not trying to make you into a mini version of me. I'm helping you develop the confidence, skills, and insight to show up as yourself in the room.
