Intern Therapist
At the heart of my counselling philosophy is the desire to walk alongside you, in a genuine, non-judgmental way, as you journey towards healing and wholeness in yourself and in your relationships. As a previous frontline healthcare worker, I know the experiences of feeling stress, anxiety, grief, and burnout. It’s important to recognize the impact this can have on your mental well-being, and that help is available. Reaching out is the most courageous thing you can do as often the pain of the situations we go through can lead to personal growth, resilience, and restoration.
Being a child of immigrants and a woman of colour, I can also understand the pressures that come with navigating two worlds and the importance that cultural factors can have on your mental wellness. My counselling approach is holistic as we work towards your goal while keeping you as the expert of your own life. The connection we create is instrumental to therapeutic success, and learning to embrace imperfections while remaining open to growth and self-improvement will present opportunities for meaningful change.
In my personal life, I adore spending time with my two kids and husband, escaping to the city or being in nature.
