Mindfulness doesn’t have to be hard. It’s not always about tapping into your inner self to figure out who you really are.
It’s a practice, and practice starts off simple.
Think about it this way – when you go camping, what is the first thing you notice? For me, it is always the smell of campfire. That is being mindful! Noticing it, and acknowledging it.
Try it yourself! Go on a walk and just notice the environment around you – what does it sound like? Is it noisy? What does it smell like? Just be mindful of your surroundings!
